Image not staying on sketch

When I insert an image onto a sketch it will not display.

I have tried repeatedly to insert a .jpg image onto a sketch. It asks me to draw the sketch rectangle and the image shows up, but only until I set the rectangle. The box remains where the image should be but the image is not displayed. Am I doing something wrong?

I think you are following right process but not sure why it doesn't work for you. It works good for me. See the below video.

You can verify if your browser is webGL supported. Another possibility could be slower internet speed due to which feature generation may get delayed.

Do you perhaps have the sketch visibility turned off? Under certain circumstances, notably when using the sketch in a feature, Onshape will automatically hide your sketch (the "Eye" icon to the right of the name gets a diagonal slash through it).
If you go back to add a picture to such a sketch, you may not realise it has been hidden.

Figured out that it was the image and something to do with the way it was edited in photoshop. FIxed it and got it to work.
