custom "nozzle" feature

Hi,
I need to be able to "copy" a certain feature (lets call it a nozzle) to an array of holes on a cylinder. (or to the position of a mate connector on the cilinder mantle)
I would like to make a feature script which would allow for a nozzle (based on 3 base dimensoins) to be installed at certain positions on the cylinder; Any Ideas/concepts to go about this?
to make things even worse: most of the holes on the cylinder mantke are actually flat patterns/ sketches that are projected onto the cylinder, so i didn't even find an easy way to get a mate connector at the center position of the holes. (as only closed curves are "wrapped" onto the surface of the cylinder, not points.)
