Loft issue

I am creating a loft between a rectangle and a circle, and I would like the surface of the loft to be flat topologically speaking so that it can be made out of one piece of sheet metal (so that it doesn't have to be stretched). It seems that Onshape goes for minimum surface area or something instead. Here is what I am going for, but with someone else's work in a different software:

Bonus Question: Is there a way to flatten a surface so that a stencil could be generated for the sheet metal part I need to cut out in Onshape, or do I just have to measure each side and do it myself?
