Yes, that is possible. You need to use mates that allow a certain degree of movement by min/max values for the angle around the axis you want to rotate. Then you could grab the bar with the mouse and move it, even animate it, or you could use 'configurations' and define an open and a closed state to select from the configurations menu.

There are very comprehensive tutorials on the OS site, and you can find them by using search terms like animate or configurations.

From the picture are you trying to sweep creating a non volume 2D object? Sweeps are usually to create a 3D shape or surface. Would help to have a link to the document.

You can create a sweep by following a path. You can create the path by selecting lines across sketches or by using a 3D spline line.

yes, that s exactly what I wanted, thank you so much. Just one last question, is there any way to make the bar to rotate up and down and lock in place just like the actual one in amusements parks.
