How to create an object wrapped around another object?

OnShape / CAD newbie, but I have been able to create 10 + models so far.
I have a cad model of a portable radio transceiver that I would like to create a protective cover for (it will be printed in tpu) Think of it like a case for a mobile phone, except much more complicated geometries. I don't know enough to even search for an answer. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to approach this?
Thanks
Lou
