merging more than one part studio to create one new part

Let's assume you started a part consisting of 3 different parts which you made in different part studios. Later down the path of design you conclude this was not ideal and you need them to be together so you can boolean them into one part.
Is there a simple way to do this using the existing part studios?
Currently I have started redrawing the missing parts into one of the part studios and boolean them that way. But as parts get more complicated this is of course a lot of work.
I am aware of the possibility to combine them into an assembly and then to make a part studio in context. But again this can be a lot of work.
I was hoping there was a way to merge part studios.

Use the "derive" to bring in the different parts into a single part studio. And use the transform tool if needed to locate them.

Thank you Eric. I did find the answer before my post was submitted. Is there a way to edit a submitted post which is not yet approved?
