    Onshape has no version's, and what do you mean by datum tool?

    Onshape actually has versions but, because of the way it works, all users are on the latest. Which looks like no versions to users. The existing documents are brought to latest version over time. When you start working on an old document, If it's not up to the latest it soon will be.
    I'm with Dirk. What do you mean by datum tool.
