Why is my Onshape so slow on my fast computer but fast on my ancient macheinery

on my computer with a 2060 and a i7 9700 with 32 gb ram onshape has trouble loading the menus and importing parts and assemblies, to be honest it has trouble loading anything, but once its loaded its fine. on my other computer the roles are reversed, its a i3 7100u with 1/4 the ram and no dedicated gpu but it will open the export box in less then 30 seconds whereas my good machine takes over 5 minutues
