WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
I have been taking an AutoCAD class for the last year, but I am going through Onshape's introductory tutorials (very meticulously!) because my class never taught 3D drafting.
I cannot get the correct volume answers for any of the exercises. I am asking for help in the second exercise* of the first section, Sketching In-Context.
I know the correct protocol in this situation is to describe exactly what I think could have gone wrong, but I've already tried to troubleshoot in that manner and have failed.
The answer to the first part of the exercise is not in the message boards** but my answer is 543049.202 mm^3. Wrong.
My answer to the second part of the exercise would be 8786 mm^3, but since the answer is actually 50865.381 mm^3 I know something is very wrong with my drawing. I just don't know what it is, and I don't know what I don't know.
EXTRANEOUS RAMBLINGS, INCLUDING FOOTNOTES (A.K.A. YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW)
Step 7/0*** of "Sketching In-Context" misspells image as omage.
*I have given up on the "Basic Sketching" exercise in the "Overview and Sketching" lesson because I have started from scratch three times.
**...as far as I can tell.
***Why out of zero? What is the point of saying 7/0 (or any number out of zero)?

Here's the finished sketch, see if you can recreate it:
