Suppressing assembly pattern part instances using configurations

Hi,

I would really like to create assembly configurations that suppress chosen pattern part instances but i don't think it can be done?

    Depending on what the pattern is, there may be other options. Do you mean a pattern within a part studio (of features or faces), or an assembly pattern of instances?

    A screenshot and/or a public document would help us help you.

    You are right, you can manually suppress instances of a pattern but it doesn't look like that state can be configured...
    Hopefully if they can add this they could also add the option to change the configuration of each patterned item, that would be very helpful...
