Can an student assignment be unsubmitted by the instructor?

I've had a few students submit their assignment prematurely. How can I unsubmit them?

thanks
The assignment should not lock in view-only mode when submitted. However, when the educator opens the document from the assignment list, the document opens to a version that was created during the submission. This is meant to help educators see the work that was done at the time of submission. Versions in Onshape are immutable and view-only. To see the version you have open, expand the Versions and History graph at the left of the window. The image below shows an educator view opening a student document. Submission 1 that is highlighted in blue is the version a student submitted. If you would like to see this in edit mode, click the Main workspace. You will have access to the modeling tools once that workspace opens.
Similarly, if your students are struggling with opening the documents into view-only mode, they can follow the directions above to make edits and resubmit.
Another option for students is to open the document from their assignment list directly (pictured below). If they are opening the document from the assignment details screen, the link provided sends them to the submitted assignment version and will open as view-only.
Please reach out if you have any further questions!
Best,
Naomi
