Changelog to Cam in this forum

I think it would be nice if there was a changelog for the cam studio. 
For example, did anything change in the recent release? 
Are cam studio updates tied to the regular onshape release schedule?
If not then how can we know when and what is happening?

I bringing this up partly because I have not been using Cam Studio due to the metric-only limitations. Would like to have clear indications when this and some other limitations get corrected.

Yes to both of your points, we have discussed the need for announcing our changes to CAM in this EVP forum very soon.

Our team has made some huge progress towards full Inch units support in CAM studio. This work, along with some other much needed back-end changes uncovered a few hiccups so we made the difficult decision to hold back on shipping those out until we were confident that our changes would not break CAM studio for our EVP users.

Obviously our intention is to ship regular updates to CAM studio, ideally at the same time as our updates to the CAD side. Still a work in progress as we fine-tune the process and coordinate the different teams.

I thought maybe we would see a CAM Update with this last release.

Is there anything in the works or will it be 3 weeks?

 Thanks for that, it sounds like I need to plan on using Fusion for my upcoming project.

Wayne, thanks for checking in. Our team is still working on integrating our recent changes and getting it into shape to be able to release. Appreciate your patience.
