trying to create a angled tube from base

Hi all,

i dont know how to produce this. I need to make a tube from the top base (plane2) to plane 3 at a 45degree angle part or the base (add extrusion).
How can this be done?

Threads look ok. What's the issue? Extrude 3 looks better if Up To Face is used instead of Up To Next.

Hello Nelson. Attached is a link to a copy of your document in which two methods are used to create the tube, Extrude and Sweep. Suppress either to see the results which are similar. The difference being the length of the tube - Scotty

Thanks Robert !  That's exactly what I was looking for. I was able to make the inner part extrude a hole and the outer part through and through. Awesome !

ok here is the new link:
now i need to make a thread (M6) to this tube but the thread creator wont let me pick the inner part. is it because the script doesn't work?  I tried multiple scripts....

I don't want to have to create the thread manually.

Ouch! My fault. Due to the angled extrude, the bore of the tube is an oval shape; thus the Thread Creator wouldn't allow the bore face to be selected. What I did to correct this was to create a plane normal to the line in the direction/path sketch. I created a sketch of the tube profile on that plane coincident with the end point of the direction/path line. The extrude was edited to select the face of the new profile and I used the Up To Face selection. Thread Creator seems to be happy with that. - Scotty

The whole is not going through the base. I'm currently trying to see how to do that. Also, can you tell me which script for the thread to use?

i fixed the hole (dirty way, i think it could be simplified) but the threads is still an issue.

ok, issue with part Bowden tube outer M6.

The hole at the bottom of the part shows in the sketch but when printing the part in 3D, it doesn't. What could be the problem?

What part, specifically, did you export? Are you using a filament or resin printer? What slicer are you using? Does the hole appear in the slicer?

the exported part is "bowden-tube-outer M6". I'm using a filament printer and Orca Slicer. No the hole doesnt appear on the bottom side in the slicer either. Why would that be?

I see only Part 1 and Part 2 in any of your tabs. Bowden-tube-outer M6 is a tab. Right click on the Part you want to print from the lower left panel of the applicable Part Studio. That should do it. Only export Parts  a Part for printing.

oh thats odd... i was right-clicking on the tab name and exporting from there but seem that if you do that the part is not complete?  Exporting by right-clicking on the Part itself in the part list does work and the hole shows in the slicer.

Oh now i get it, it's because if you click on the tab to export, it exports all parts in that part studio which part 1 doesn't have a hole. so the hole is covered.... smart... not me I mean obviously !
