export part of a part?

I have a part that I have made which is slightly too big for my 3d printer. I want to print pieces of the part individually and put them together later. One of my extrusions uses the "up to face" end type. If I wanted to print the extrusion without the face that it goes up to, is that possible? I want to export "tube 1 and 2" as 1 part but nothing else.

It might be a good idea to add geometry where the parts connect to each other to make sure they join well0
