Is there automatic text for the "Text Path" Feature Script?

I have started using "Text Path" Feature Script for placing Part Info on parts, it is a VERY handy script.

Is there a way to automatically use the current Document Version Number (or other Document Info) as a part of the text field?

There maybe there is some information online, and I have just missed it.

I would want/suggest something like:     "MyPart Ver: ${versionNumber}, other info"

Yes the above works with "standard" text, I well check if it works for "Text Path" Feature Script.
