Using Variables for vectors

I'm Trying to create a group of lines based off user inputted values, but I can only place vectors on the x = 0 and y =0 . How can I place a line/point in space that is not on x/y/z =0?

Are you using sketch lines? Those are placed in the x-y plane of the sketch coordinate system. You'll either need to transform those from 3D to the sketch coords, or just create the lines without a sketch.
