How to perforate a bend line,

Hi.
I need to make a sheet metal part with "perforations" on the bend lines so I can manually bend/ fold it.
found a few discussions on it but not really an answer...
I cant seem to make this work on the preview of the flat pattern, as it doesn"t seem to accept dteh geometry for an extrude (only if its within flat sections of the bended parts it seems to work (eg holes)
example:
fold line perforation | folded piece (onshape.com)
*edit: solved/ apparently only the "solid" option within extrude command can be used. I tried a "thin feature" extrude cut
would however still be handy to be able to do this thin feature extrude/cut of a 'dashed line" if that makes sense..
