How to specify chamfer on drawing?

I can't specify Chamfer dimension on the Drawing. I tried click and select one of the view, then select "Chamfer dimension" tool, but nothing was added.

Try a view perpendicular to the chamfer.

Better option is to change views so one is perpendicular.

its doesn't work this way. There is no special perpendicular view. I just want specify dimension on one of the view, Bottom or Top, or side view (right or left)

These changes confused me. My design only had a chamfer on one side of the part, so I couldn't figure out how you got that view Is it possible to set the setting so that when creating a drawing from Part studio, the each view is marked? (Top view, Side view, Bottom view)? Also, when creating a drawing, the initial settings of Part studio often do not give the view that is needed. Therefore, when creating a drawing, I have to change some of views to rotate them to the desired position.

Yes it works. Don't know why this didn't work when I first tried it. Perhaps I was trying to drag the chamfer pointer not perpendicular to the chamfer, but parallel.
