Where is Variable Table (Part Studio)? Has it been moved, demoted?

john_e_bowenjohn_e_bowen Member Posts: 5
Hi. I'm in a Part Studio. I found I can click on the icon on the right hand side, to display the variable in table format, which is very cool. The reference is:

https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/variable_table.htm

This works even when I'm in a sketch; quite handy. At least it was, last week. Now It seems to have disappeared. Instead, there are, from top to bottom:

Appearance Panel
Configuration Panel
Custom Tables
Hole Table

Did I miss something?

Thanks,
John

It won't show up if you're not in an editable workspace, or are in a particularly old Part Studio. If that doesn't help, I recommend filing a support ticket.

Support may be able to assist you by forcing that document to upgrade to the newest version. If your copy and move solution doesn't work try opening a ticket and explaining the situation.

Thanks for that; it does make sense. This is an old studio. I opened a tab with a more recent workspace and saw the familiar icons.

I think I can copy or move my current tab to another workspace, to gain the added function. Thanks again!

jnewth - Thanks. In this case, I've already moved the relevant item, and just deleted the old document. John
