I'm a new user. I don't see X/Y/Z coordinates on the working screen . Is there a way to turn them on?

Are you talking about the view cube in the upper right corner?

@brian_english ,  Currently in Onshape there is no  separate X,Y,Z coordinates in window. User has to refer view cube for seeing X,Y,Z co-ordinate direction.  X direction is denoted by Red color, Y direction is denoted by Green color and Z direction  is denoted by Blue color. These color coding is also used for  measurement purpose.

There are no X,Y,Z co-ordinates, only directions. All in Onshape is made by using "constrained" sketches drawn on planes you may define. A top, right and front plane , and an origin are given as your main references to start.
