loft from boundary surface to sketch doesn't work

hi, i am trying to make a loft from the boundary surface to the sketch but it doesn't let me do it, if someone knows how to do it please share

    It's really not clear from that document the exact problem that you're having or if you've already solved it. What I do notice is that Loft 1 seems like it should have been a simple extrude, either up to a surface, or split by a surface. There's a lot of complexity where you probably don't need/want it.

    Looking at the end of Loft 1, it seems like it could have just been extruded:


    Then, looking at the curvature analysis/combs you can see that the surfaces are getting close to being degenerate (3 or 2 sided, instead of 4 sided). This will likely lead to downstream weirdness.
