FeatureScript: custom plane boundary

_reo_reo Member Posts: 6
Hi

Is it possible to write a script that can create a customized plane boundary based on a part face or sketch?

I want to be able to use the normal mate features and create "special" paths for motion

Hmmm, your question isn't quite clear yet. I'm not understanding what you want to achieve. can you elaborate?

'special' paths for motions could perhaps be achieved using a tangent mate?

I would like to either restrict the limits of my  planar mate into a circular/ellipse shape, or mate on a plane of said circular/ellipse shapes

I want to use the geometry on princpia
The tangent mate works well for the modeling, but things get crazy when i try to simulate on principia
