Can't select parts in the graphics window in Render Studio

Hey folks,
For some reason I can no longer select parts or faces in the graphics window in Render Studio. As such, the only way to apply appearances is in the part tree which is excruciating as I have about 200 parts. Is this a software bug or is there an option I'm missing.
For that matter - how do you drag an appearance onto an entire part? I thought there was a way to do that (Hold alt and drag the appearance?) but right now no mater what i do the only thing that's accepting the appearance is the face I drop it on - not the entire part.
