Help! Why can't I wrap this object around the cylinder

Hello,

I'm newish to onshape, done the some of the basic tutorials, and made some semi complex items, but I am running into a problem with this project why can't I wrap part 3 around part 4. Apologies if this is a super dump question, and thanks in advance!

Here's the link to my project https://cad.onshape.com/documents/9ffe9f9d9ff881e9928dd02e/w/9b3c0e4b2ec03d834d635a7a/e/6c5f9d607641482eb28a665a?renderMode=0&uiState=66d0dd469440783230c95585

With the built-in tools there is no way to wrap a solid around another shape. You can wrap 2D curves around a cylinder or cone - that's it.

There are some custom features like Texture and Attractor Pattern which can do some interesting things, but not exactly what you want.

Simon, does this mean if I were to leave my object as a plan sketch I would be able to wrap it?

Yes. You can wrap a 2D sketch.

    See the help.
