Part studios missing in subassemblies when trying to insert in full assembly
link to top level assembly document
So I'm trying to insert a subassembly into a top level assembly, but whenever I do the subassembly is just missing the part studios and only has the other imported parts but not the main part studio it's built off of. This is despite the fact that I have the subassembly open in another tab where everything is fine and dandy, and no matter how many new versions I make nothing helps. Trying to update the broken subassembly in the top level document does nothing, deleting and re-inserting the broken sub assembly in the full assembly does nothing as well. The only fix for it seems to be to wait an hour or two and the next time I open OnShape the top level assembly is magically fixed.
Here's my example. This is the main part studio, "Shooter Frame"
and this is the sub assembly, "Shooter Assembly":
As you can see, everything is up to date and there are no rebuild errors. However, if I look in the version history, previous versions have a bunch of errors that don't seem to actually be there? Here you can see that v27 has errors while the main version above did not:
That's weird, guess I'll just make a new version (v28) off of main so I can drop it in my full assembly later. Problem is, when I make v28 it also decides to have errors for some reason, even though the main version I'm making it from is completely fine:
Well even though the feature tree is full of errors in v28, the actual model in the viewport looks fine. Maybe it'll just work when I put it in the top level assembly?
Nope. When I put "Shooter Assembly" into the top level assembly, "Shooter Frame" appears in the feature tree on the left but is not actually there. The motors and wheels are the extra parts that get added to the frame in the subassembly and those seem to be the only parts that make it through into the top level assembly. I can manually insert the "Shooter Frame" part studio into the top level assembly and I guess just rebuild the subassembly from scratch, but it would be nicer if it would just actually put the whole subassembly in.

Same problem here . Waiting for support to answer my tickets
Tried to post on the update thread as I suspect it has something to do with the latest update. . But my post seems to have suffered the same fate as my parts and subassys..
