How to solve this assembly.. I am kind of stuck

I have been trying to solve this assembly for an iris mechanism. I don't know what mate connectors to use or how to assemble between the leaf and the plate. The leaf can rotate as well it needs to stay in the slot. I tried the slider and slot mate but I was not successful. It would be great if someone could help in overcoming this challenge. Thanks in advance.

Pin-slot mate is what you want, you may need to re-orient the mate connectors as well as check the order of the selections.
