Reopened a very old project - missing updates

I reopened an at least two year old project. Either I did not see the warning to update the project to the latest Onshape version, or it simply didn't show. I do not know.
Now e.g. "thin" extrusion is not available and so on.
Is there a way to force a project update?

I've heard that you can trash a document and then restore it from trash to force an update.
