can i even trim in drawing mode ? i need to trim a construction line

As of this time sketch tools and drawing tools in drawing space are two different sets of tools since the drawing space was based on another software. This is gradually being updated over time.
You can however insert sketchs into a drawing so if you absolutely need to then thats a work around. In the mean time have a look at exising feature requests to see if other people are asking for something similar and vote them up
WhWhich lines are you wanting to trim? Are the centre lines between the upper holes and the lower holes needed?
