How do I import a dxf file into a parts studio?

I remember being able to import a dxf file into a parts studio, to be fully edited or whatever I needed to do with it. But now, I can't seem to add a dxf into a specific parts studio, and am stuck with only being able to open it with ares kudo, with no editing capability. Am I missing something here?

You'll have to open a sketch and import it into that.
When I try that, I get the file name with the ares kudo square cross hair logo thing next to it, and nothing happens when I click on it.
