What is causing model export with malformed shape in GLTF and additional plane in PVZ?

My model has a face-blend connecting the top and bottom parts, resolving well in OnShape.

For the export, the object is split into two parts which is still OK in OnShape (here parts are shifted for better visibility only).

But when I export the assembly (or it's bottom part individually - same effect) in GLTF or PVZ, different errors show up:

In the the GLTF export the cutting surface is mangled, and …

…. the PVZ export contains an additional plane, which is an obvious bug.
