Hiding the Drag Coordinate Axes Arrows in Assembly View

The giant arrows pop up whenever I select/highlight a face. Is there anyway to hide them?

I also would love to be able to hide the massive arrows. That way I could select a few items and take a quick screenshot, but without the distracting arrows.
