Hyperbolic parametric curve failing to regenerate

I'm trying to create a hyperbolic curve, using the parametric curve featurescript by mahir (https://cad.onshape.com/documents/578ff8b3e4b0e65410fcfda3/v/9e1cf9e0369f819849e1e2fd/e/46b903b8bff0b36927baa2a6?renderMode=0&uiState=6741ded4b653d019b0422d48) and working off the derivation from a video by rad-head ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1nT8uw6fBY&t=205s ) . The feature seems to accept the functions and there is no pop-up suggesting any error, however, once ticked, the curve is not created and a failure to regenerate error appears. My knowledge of both the mathematical and technical side of this issue are limited, but I can't figure out exactly what mistake I'm making.
