Collaborating with someone on a free account
I have a Pro account and I've shared a link to some parts with my client who is on a free account. If they are viewing a document, I get a message saying that their view will close if I access it. Since they have "view only" permissions, can I set it up where they can still view the file as I'm working on it, as if it were a collaboration environment?

The only time you'll ever get the "someone else's view will close if I access it" is for 2 people accessing the same live drawing. They should absolutely be able to view everything else live as you're working on it. And Oliver is correct in terms of drawings: they can view a previous version while you're editing the live drawing (and if you send a link to the version it will bring the viewer straight there).

I'm not sure this will work, but try creating version, then changing to view that version before sharing the link. Then you may be able to view the main workspace while they view the version. Just a hunch though, haven't tried it.
I've only seen that message on drawings, so if that's the only tab you're having trouble with also try just exporting the drawing to pdf and sending them that.
