Flat Pattern Drawing Layers
When you export a dxf it contains dozens of layers most of which i have never seen used. Is there a way to contol what entities wind up assigned to a layer? For example, the larger circle that comes with a countersinking operation is on layer 0. It would be nice to get it on a dedicated Engraving layer so my machine operators never question it. Also, and i am thinking this is somehow related to the first problem, when i export a hole it comes with two layers. One is the Visible layer and the other is the 0 Layer. It would be nice to be able to stop the extra layer from generating on standard through holes…
Anyone have thoughts or insight on this?
