Sometime my curved sketches extrude straight

ethan_sappethan_sapp Member Posts: 4

Like the title says, sometimes my curved sketches extrude as straight lines and sometimes a simple circle comes out as polygon. Its a little difficult to build off your sketches when your extrusion looks nothing like it. Any help would be appreciated.

That is probably just rendering. Try turning on "View in high quality" to see if that clears things up. Curved sketches will create curved surfaces. And circular sketches will create circular features, but might be rendered as polygons. Below are the same two shapes, one rendered in high quality.

Thank you so much. I was hoping I just needed to adjust the settings but didn't know exactly what i was looking for.
