Features in linear pattern not generating consistently

Workspace in question:
"Linear pattern 5" includes, among other features, "Mate connector 2" and "3.2 mm THRU". The patterned instances of the mate connector only appear on some of the patterned rib parts, the holes don't appear at all.
Curve on the flange of the rib in the left side of this screenshot should have same mate connector and hole as the rib in the right part of the screenshot.
What am I doing wrong? Is this a bug?

I've looked and tried. created the holes without the mate connector (from a sketch). simplified the linear pattern (with it's own distance)
But I cannot get the holes to work either. Strange…
I figured maybe the holes don't know what parts they're applied to (the new parts).
but even creating the holes after the linear pattern, applying them to all parts, and creating a second linear pattern for them doesn't solve it.
so I'm at a loss.
sorry i can't help you but thought I'd share my trials here anyway so it may help others exclude causes and solutions
