Sketch Could not be solved - simple rectangles and lines.
Hello all,
I`m still very much learning but my normally very simple drawings always tend to work out ok. However, I have hit and error and have tried to redraw this in a few different ways with the same issue.
It is essentially a simple container I want to use to store my taps and dies but it is just for fun and really more about learning. I just don`t see what error I have made. Yes, I`m absolutely sure that you pro`s it is horrific, lots of overlapping lines that don`t need to be there, but I`m curious to know what I`ve done to cause the error. Essentially, it is lots of rectangles or lines to give me my profile. The top section all extruded OK, but the bottom section won`t. Can anyone help explain why this is happening and other than aesthetics, what is wrong with my drawing as far as OnShape is concerned.
Thank you for your help, Chris

Best path? eliminated the overlapping geometry to help. but upon inspection there are a bunch up parallel constraints that are conflicting… See the dark red parallel constraint? that's where my mouse is hovering. then notice the orange lines? those are the entities related to that constraint. notice how they are not parallel? click the constraint and press delete. one down…. lots to go. 😮😉
