Variable Table Symbol on far right side has disappeared

Hi
On the far right side of the screen, together with the Appearance Panel, Configuration Panel and Custom Tables, there used to be a symbol to open the Variable Table. The last one has disappeared since yesterday. Where can I find it?

I have found out. It's the browser. I have the problem in Firefox (the browser I'm normally using) since yesterday.
In Opera and Safari the Variable Table Symbol is here as it always was.

Are you signed in? Are you looking at a particularly old document?
I'm signed in. I'm looking at a brand new document. It happens to all documents, old and new.
