Is it possible to take a picture and turn it into an layout I can extrude

I am having trouble trying to get a picture to be turned into a 2d model that can be extruded on a solid back for 3d printing.

Is there a way to accomplish this on onshape or is there another site i could visit to do this.

if you talking automagicly turning it into an object. no. but if you want to take a picture then import it into a sketch and trace over the picture and extrude it into a 3d flat object then yes.

There are programs that turn bitmap images into vector files such as Vector Magic.

So it could be a matter of finding a program that saves in a vector file format that Onshape is capable of importing
