Why is this fillet not the same as that one?

I have assigned the same fillet feature to these almost identical edges, but the one on the second image isn't working correctly.. Does anyone know why this is?

It is hard to tell without looking into the document (could you provide public link?), but it looks like the tangency in the two parts is not the same.

The root problem are the lines on the thick area of your part, and they are on both halves. Are they intenital, such as draft? If not intentional, rebuild that area, then the round will work as expected..

I dont understand what you mean by the "thick area," Could you elaborate on that? Here is the link to the project if you need.

It looks like the transition where main body enters the thick area is "tangent" aka smooth on green part and not on grey part

The thick area with the two holes. There were extra lines on all the side faces of the thick area, which means when you made it thicker, everything was not lining up. Those lines were your root problem, because the rounds follow them. Whatever method you used to make that area thick needed to be reworked.

It looks like you fixed it. I checked the link earlier today on my phone when I was out of the house, and you got rid of all of those lines that should not have been there, and your rounds were all working great. Now that link is non-working. I guess you deleted or made private the document…
