Patterning tool for all 17 possible 2D repetitive patterns (wallpaper groups) for sketch/features

"A wallpaper group (or plane symmetry group or plane crystallographic group) is a mathematical classification of a two-dimensional repetitive pattern, based on the symmetries in the pattern."
Wallpaper groups are a complete classification of how 2D patterns can be formed. There are only 17 basic pattern types. It's possible to currently possible achieve these patterns with combinations rotations, mirrors, circular patterns, and linear patterns. However, doing it with several features can be complicated and confusing. Ideally all possible wallpaper linear patterns could achieved with a single feature in both sketches and features.
It would be nice to have a custom widget for these patterns to make it clear where the rotational and mirror symmetries are.
