How to update workspace

andy_stopfordandy_stopford Member Posts: 4 ✭✭

When I try to use the derived feature, I keep getting a message saying:

"This workspace is using an old version of the feature library and must be updated before the Derived feature can be used."

Despite hours of searching, I have not been able to find out how to actually do this update. I have tried merging the last branch back to Main, but if anything this has made the problem worse.

Can you post a link of your document as public so we can see the problem?

The merge to Main seems to have worked overnight, I'm happy to say. For the information of others, just logging out and then immediately back in didn't work, so perhaps it needs some time to sort itself out.

I spoke too soon - it's back to not working.

Here's a link to the document:

For example go to the "Winding Gear" folder - both the "Winding Drum", and the "Ploughing Shaft" Part Studios display this behaviour. The latter is an empty, newly created Part studio.

    Edited to add:

    Curiouser and curiouser…

If I open Onshape using the link I've just posted, then the Derive feature works in that instance, but not in the original browser tab
