Plane-like structure showing inside sketch (even after ALL planes hidden)

I have...just a few sketches that i created to reverse design a product, but am finding that even after i turn off all planes, the sketch still shows a plane-like structure. This makes working with a complex lattice very difficult (at best). This seems to be a graphics issues, but its not clease. Is there a setting i am missing? please advise.

Check "disable imprinting" on the sketches and that should go away.
