Can't subtract two parts

Hello,
I seem to keep running into this issue and never really figure it out… even after googling it, so I always build crappy workaround to solve it and I'm sure there is something I'm just missing. Can anyone help?

There are two parts I am trying to subtract with a little offset of 0.2mm in all faces. It all fails when I select offset all regardless of the distance and direction:
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
