Sequential Extrude Thin Multiple FeatureScript?

sasha_sklar061sasha_sklar061 Member Posts: 10

Is there an existing FeatureScript that would allow you to input a list or sequence of sketch profiles to extrude thin in a single feature?

I use onshape for creating 3d printable objects, many of which are decorative or contain decorative elements. I know onshape is probably not the best tool for the job here but I love it and don't want to switch to something else. I use "extrude thin" a lot but it's often cumbersome because of the limitation with intersecting lines and curves. I understand the reason for the limitation, that the operations are modifying the target object, but could that be solved by having a feature that applies the extrusions in a sequence?

I would try the "rib network" FS, it might work for you depending on what you are trying to achieve…
