Why is the loft not working? What exactly is it telling me?

I have set a pierce constraint at both the leading edge of the wing and the trailing edge, and both of the sketches, for the 3D Fit Spline. My intention is to do a loft of the leading and trailing arcs in order to have a smooth edge.

Try lofting as a surface, maybe?
He's been in my dm's. think he's got this figured out and moved on to the next challange. I'll post my gif I made for him for others to reference if they run across this.
