Does Onshape have this spline fit feature?

bast_industriesbast_industries Member Posts: 4

hello does onshape have this spline for feature shown in the video below? I have imported a sketch but I want to smooth out all the spline curves to one curve and arcs and circles.

If you only want to combine them into one, without editing anything, use 'Composite curve'.

if you really want to smooth it out, try 'edit curve'.

The function isn't the sketch but the "edit curve" feature with the "approximate" option can basically do this. Although you will end up with a "curve" entity instead of a sketch

The other suggestions here are good, but the 3D Fit Spline feature with Edges mode is the closest thing to this, though as others say, it won't be sketch curves anymore. You could create all of your fit splines, then make one final sketch and "Use" the new splines to get it all back into one sketch again.
