Feature Request - Dimension / Hole callout customisable fit

WRegnaudWRegnaud Member Posts: 5 PRO

I find that the ISO fit are limited to a narrow choice. Especially for Holes where only H tolerance are available. I would prefer there was the integral ISO fits available to choose from all the way from A to ZC for both shafts and holes and IT 1 through 18.

    I completely agree!
It is annoying and restrictive that we can't use the fits to place an interference fit in a bore where a bearing will sit.
And why is h8 for shafts not there when h7 and h9 are? And how about h10, which is the standard OD tolerance for DIN 5480 splines?
We should be able to choose any of the standardised ISO fits for both bores and shafts.

I have never understood why one could even think of NOT enabling the whole ISO fit table, when creating the feature. It can't be much more work than to just copy-paste the whole list to some place. I have the same lack of understanding when it comes to ISO fasteners, where some sizes (especially small) are just missing, even though the ISO standard includes them.

These gaps and the gaps in standard content seem so weird. It's almost like it would take extra effort to not include certain choices.
