Splitting and deleting 3 overlapping lofts

wayne_taylor222wayne_taylor222 Member Posts: 2

I have this part with 3 overlapping lofts and I am trying to delete all the internal parts so all are open. I have tried splitting multiple entities in one operation, splitting seperately, but I keep getting "Selected entity does not split selected parts." errors. Can anyone help me with step by step instructions?

Are all 3 identical and rotated 120 deg? If so you could split the first one with planes at 120deg then circular pattern the other 2

This is the exact kind of thing I developed Better Than Boolean for. There are other ways to accomplish this, sure, but I like just selecting the regions I want to keep and throwing away the stuff that I don't.
