Move part studio out of document without variable studio

I have a part studio which I would like to move out of the current document into a new document.
But because there is a variable studio in the current document, the variable tab is moved with the part. The variables are not used in the part studio, they are only (auomaticly) linked to the studio.
The variable tab can not be deselected in the move dialog and I can't find out how to unlink the variable studio from the part studio.
Is there any way to unlink the variable studio?

Go to the Variable Studio and uncheck "Insert into all Part Studios and Assemblies." Or, you can just delete the Variable Studio from the new document after it gets copied over.
Unchecking "insert into all…" will fix the issue in this specific case since you aren't actually using the variables in the tab.
A general "fix" for tabs unintentionally getting "dragged along" when moving to a new doc is to change the reference to a version. So in this case you could create a version in your document and point the part studio to use the version of the variable studio instead of the workspace reference. Then you would be able to move just the part studio. This also applies to assemblies and any other reference.
